Apparently, this is what Benedetto Bufalino, French artist, had in mind when he took cars and turned them into street lights, ping-pong tables and public area benches. Our today’s hero is an old Ford Mondeo estate turned... into a pizza oven.
Yes, you have read that correctly: a car stripped of all of its units, mechanisms and equipment and turned into an oven for cooking delicious pizza. There are now heat-resistant panels in place of its side windows, but the front and rear windows, as well as the main body and the wheels, remain intact.
The inside of the hot ride (sorry) is lined with heat-resistant brick, the kind you generally expect to find in ovens and fireplaces. Resilient and capable of good heat insulation as the lining is, we think the modded vehicle will continue to make its owner happy and fed for many years to come.
