The Lebanon subdivision of Ford Performance has been building high-performance variants of Ford cars for many years now. Their latest project is called LFP Hellion and is essentially an upgrade of the base Ford Mustang GT that costs U.S. $35,355.
The upgrade centers on the Street Sleeper Twin Turbo System developed by Hellion Power Systems, including a powerful intercooler, two turbochargers, wastegates, bypass valves and better fuel injectors. There is also a control firmware update.
The abovementioned changes improve the performance of the car from 460 to 800 hp (343 to 597 kW).
On the outside, the vehicle gets a rear spoiler, LED lighting and a set of 18-inch wheels. The interior gets power front seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel.
Ford Performance will be selling their LFP Hellions for U.S. $39,995 (includes the car and the upgrade). Those who already have a Ford Mustang GT may order the upgrade only for $6,395.
