In the half-century that it has been around, the Ford Mustang has gained thousands upon thousands of third-party accessories and options. It is, therefore, not surprising that some of these will be exhibited at the upcoming SEMA show in Las-Vegas.
The first out of five custom Mustangs to come to the show this year is a work of Bojix Design. The car features an exhaust system with a Borla muffler, Ford Performance suspension and sway bars, Brembo brakes and a supercharger. It also sports an aerodynamic package by Air Design and APR and houses only one row of Recaro sport seats.
CGS Motorsports has another Mustang to show. The muscle car c omes equipped with a supercharger, a cat-back exhaust system with carbon tailpipes, powerful Brembo brakes and LED headlights. It sports a red-and-black exterior and an interior wrapped in Nappa leather.
The third entry, the CJ Pony Parts Ford Mustang, aspires to be a true drift car. It was customized using numerous performance parts from Ford Performance and Roush, and comes with a lowered stance, a new exhaust system and a custom gear switch design. Its engine is reportedly capable of delivering 700 hp (522 kW) to the wheels. The car stands on golden-tinted wheels and wears a wide body kit by Anderson Composites. On the inside, there are Recaro sport seats with five-point safety belts and a roll cage.
The fourth Ford Mustang benefits from a similar technical upgrade performed by Galpin Auto Sports and features a Galpin Auto Sports body kit.
The fifth and last vehicle is a work of TJIN Edition. Unlike the previous four, it is powered by a fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, rather than a monstrous five-liter V8. It sports moderate performance upgrades alongside expensive options aimed at improving design and driving comfort.
