The Tractorri Custom Coupe is a crazy Lambo/Mustang frankencar

The latest SEMA show featured an extremely unique sports car that we would like to tell you more about. A 2007 Ford Mustang at heart, the ride had its entire drivetrain – the transmission, the AWD and the 5.0L V10 engine – borrowed from a Lamborghini Gallardo.

The project took around U.S. $700,000 to complete and was meant as a celebration of Lamborghini’s initial specialization (the company used to be known exclusively as a tractor manufacturer).

From a distance, some might mistake this car for a genuine Ford Mustang. However, a closer look reveals brand-new bodywork, steel fender flares, custom rocker moldings, Porsche 911 Turbo turn blinkers and Lamborghini Gallardo brake lights.

The interior of the unique vehicle also makes use of certain Gallardo components, including the seats, the central console and the slightly remodeled dashboard. The ceiling is draped in Alcantara, and the sill plates are backlit.

Naturally, squeezing the Gallardo drivetrain into the Mustang chassis & body was by no means an easy task. The engineers almost had to rebuild the car from scratch. Then again, the end result proved well worth it.

The aspiring collector piece that is the Tractorri Custom Coupe will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson’s auction sale in January. The starting price remains unannounced.
