Schropp upgrades the 2017 Ford Mustang with supercharger, air suspension

The latest Ford Mustang facelift came out in 2017. The manufacturer dropped the V6 engine from the lineup, inviting the customers to choose between the 2.3-liter EcoBoost V4 and the 5.0L V8. Today, German tuner Schropp Fahrzeugtechnik has launched a power upgrade for the latter.

The SF700 package includes a bulky supercharger, an intercooler, a Roush sport-grade air filter, and chip tuning. Once applied, it raises the engine output to a stellar 700 hp (522 kW) and 750+ Nm (553+ lbft) of torque.

Those of you who don’t feel like investing into a supercharger may opt for the SF500 kit instead, which will boost your Ford Mustang to a still respectable 500 hp (373 kW).

Regardless of which way you choose to go, the tuner will also offer you a duplex, cat-back, quad-pipe exhaust system with a valve that enables you to select your favorite exhaust soundtrack. It opens into four 100-mm (4”) exhaust tips finished with carbon.

If you wish, Schropp Fahrzeugtechnik will also replace the stock wheels with a set of 20-inch Cor.Speed DeVille Inox rollers clad in Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 rubber, and suspend these by means of an air kit.

Finally, to improve overall dynamics of the car, the company suggests installing a strut tower bar in front and an enormous Abbes Design Race rear wing in the rear.
