Ford announces new Mustang-like e-SUV

Car manufacturer Ford has confirmed that it is designing an SUV that looks not unlike the current Mustang, packs an all-electric powertrain, and is rated for 600 kilometers (375 miles) of range.

The North American car manufacturer claims that its first completely electric vehicle does not just offer an unprecedented range, but also comes with Mustang-like driving experience.

Aside from this unnamed model, Ford is going to release another electrified mini-SUV which is called Puma and based on the Fiesta platform. Unlike this one, though, the 2020 Puma is a hybrid rather than an all-electric car.

Ford intends to introduce at least one all-electric model to every car family it sells in Europe in the next few years.
