Video: Gymkhana 7, Ken Block’s new mini movie about his extreme Mustang

Ken Block has uploaded the Gymkhana 7 on his YouTube channel, a mini movie stylized to resemble feature films from the 1960s.

The famous Gymkhana racer and showperson settled on using his Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V1 for the shooting, a heavily modded vehicle built on a unique chassis by ASD Motorsports.

The coupe initially came powered by a monstrous 6.2 V8 engine churning out up to 845 hp (630 kW) along with 976 Nm (720 pound-feet) of torque. Later on, Block reworked it by installing a better exhaust manifold, stronger turbine chargers, and some other performance components. He ended up with a colossal 1,400 hp (1,044 kW) and 1,675 Nm (1,235 lbft) of torque.

The 10th and latest Gymkhana video features as many as five Ken Block’s rides: the Escort RS racecar, the Fiesta rally car, the Focus rally/cross vehicle, the Hoonitruck pickup packing 927 hp / 691 kW, and the Mustang 4WD muscle car.

The movie was filmed in three countries, namely the USA, Sweden, and Mexico.
