Roush unveils a 720-HP power kit for the Ford Mustang

U.S.-based car tuner Roush Performance has released an upgrade for the latest Ford Mustang. Called the Roush Mustang Stage 3, the kit costs a hefty €18,000 in Europe, but takes the car to a level of performance above even the celebrated 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500.

The Roush team has persuaded the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 unit to output 720 hp (537 kW) and 827 Nm (610 lbft) of torque. The abovementioned Shelby GT comes second with ‘only’ 709 hp (529 kW) at its disposal.

Included with the package are a stronger supercharger, an active exhaust system, a revised intake system, and an ECU remap. By the way, you can now fine-tune the soundtrack produced by the exhaust by rotating a dedicated wheel on the center console.

If you wish, you may order the Roush Mustang Stage 3 along with an in-house designed body kit. This includes a ventilated hood cover, a new radiator grille sporting horizontal fins instead of the traditional honeycomb pattern, a larger central air intake, a broader front spoiler lip, side skirt add-ons, an aggressive-looking rear diffuser, and a trunk lid spoiler.

Roush Performance will also equip your Mustang with aftermarket wheels that come in a variety of available designs, lower the suspension, and overhaul the interior.
