Ford Mustang camera car used to film 2014 “Need for Speed” goes up on sale

An interesting ad just popped up on eBay, offering a unique Ford Mustang converted into a camera car for the filming set of the 2014 movie Need for Speed.

At its core, the vehicle is a 2013 Mustang GT. Multiple tuners took part in the project, but a special mention goes to the team over at Saleen Automotive, who fitted it with a supercharger for 625 hp (466 kW) total output, performance brakes, 3.73:1 rear gear ratio, a Shaker audio system, Corbeau racing seats, better seat belts, and a roll cage.

The car body has been reinforced and fitted with numerous mount points for mounting heavy camera and lighting equipment.

This particular Mustang has 12,538 kilometers (7,791 miles) on its odometer and currently sells for U.S. $34,900. Its owner mentions a few issues, such as the missing front passenger airbag and the constant ‘Trunk Open’ warning light due to the heavily remodeled rear, but claims that the vehicle is otherwise in great condition.
