Jack Roush Edition Mustang debuts at SEMA

The Ford Mustang is popular enough to warrant much attention at tuning shows, such as the ongoing SEMA 2019. This year’s expo has had its fair share of exciting Ford mods, but this Jack Roush Edition Mustang deserves a special mention.

Built by Roush Performance, the car is dedicated to the company’s founder Jack Roush, who has recently entered the NASCAR Hall of Fame after claiming 32 complete tournament victories and 400+ awards.

The muscle car comes powered by a supercharged five-liter V8 engine rated at 786 hp (580 kW) and 908 Nm (670 lb-ft) of torque. It packs custom suspension, Brembo brakes, a carbon-fiber rear wing, larger radiators for the engine and transmission, an active-valve exhaust system, and forged wheels wrapped in Continental rubber.

The exterior eye candy includes a sophisticated aerodynamic kit, a new front grille, and special badges. Inside, there are new wheels and seats wrapped in leather and Alcantara.

Roush plans to produce 60 cars for customers in the USA and 10 for other markets. Sales begin next spring.
