Lebanon Ford Performance (Ohio, USA) has launched a special 2020 Ford Mustang GT series armed with supercharged engines churning out a thousand horsepower (745 kilowatts). You can buy one for just under $55,000.
The catch? There is none. The showroom offers the Mustang 300A series, which packs a 5.0 V8 and ten-speed automatic transmission. The engine comes fitted with a supercharger (you may choose Whipple or D1X Stage2 Procharger) that boosts it to the desired performance level.
The rest of the improvements the muscle car boasts are meant to support the surplus power. This includes six-piston Brembo brakes on the front axle, 19-inch forged wheels, and an enhanced cooling circuit. The company recommends using E85 for fuel, but ON 93 gas will do as well.
The sad part is that Lebanon Ford Performance does not ship its cars abroad, because getting a 1,000-hp ride for under €40k in Europe would be tempting, indeed, even if you add all the taxes and shipping costs.
