Auto tuner Art from T34 Speed has finished a unique 1966 Ford Mustang restomod called “Mongrel”, perhaps because it packs a Chevrolet engine under the hood and therefore cannot be considered a purebred muscle car.
The new LS V8 boasts seven liters of displacement and pumps out around 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts), out of which 505 hp (377 kW) reaches the wheels. A Wilwood brake system with perforated discs helps keep the power in check, and Forgeline wheels wrapped in ultra-wide rubber ensure adequate traction at all times.
Outside, the mongrel pony wears a Ringbrothers GFRP kit, a carbon fiber hood, and an exhaust system with pipes exiting from the side.
The cabin makes good use of brown leather and artificial suede. The dashboard is new, and there is a modern multimedia display on the center console. A massive roll cage spanning from the front seats to the trunk area rounds things off here.
