CarWOW has held another interesting contest between two performance coupes lately, a Ford Mustang Bullit and a Lexus LC 500. Both pack the same powertrains and AWD, but which one is faster?
The Bullit gets 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW) along with 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of maximum torque out of its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8. The Europe spec features six-speed manual transmission, adaptive suspension and heavy-duty brakes. It is somewhat less powerful than the U.S. spec, but at £60,000 in Great Britain, also more affordable.
The LC 500 has the same performance figures, but benefits from a ten-speed auto gearbox. It also weighs in at 110 kg (242 lbs) above its rival and costs 50% more at £90,000.
In the race that followed, not even photo finish could tell which one emerged the winner. The other disciplines awarded decisive victory to one of the contestants, but which one? Watch and find out!
