An unusually styled 1965 Ford Mustang ‘Venom’ will cross the auction block in the USA in a few days with numerous chassis and interior modifications, an engine swap and some new bodywork. There are no estimates at this point.
A look under the hood reveals a seven-liter Roush V8 equipped with reinforced connecting rods, forged pistons, high-performance fuel system and a tweaked ECU. The output is not specified, but we know that the wheels are driven through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a custom driveshaft and a multi-plate clutch.
The suspension benefits from stronger arms, coilovers, six-piston RRS brake calipers and wide 19-inch wheels.
Elsewhere, the Mustang has a new hood, bumpers, flared arches and fenders and some stainless-steel exterior details. The windows and LED lighting all around are new, too.
Inside, the owner installed modern seats with enhanced lateral support and new dash gauges. Rounding things off is a Vintage Air HVAC.
