Ford Performance has announced an upgrade plan for the latest Mustang at the SEMA that will go on sale in early 2024 and will add around 300 horsepower (225 kW) to the output of the stock 5.0-liter V8.
The kit includes a Whipple supercharger, improved intake components and an enlarged throttle valve housing, as well as assorted high-flow filters and other things. The ECU gets an update as well.
The Coyote V8 is installed in two versions on modern-era Mustangs, both rated at roughly 500 horsepower. The Ford Performance upgrade raises the output to at least 800 hp (600 kW).
The tune-up comes with a warranty valid for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
