Vaughn Gittin-Jr., a star driver from the U.S., has posted the second episode of his Mustang Togue series. Called Night Shift, it shows a pair of Ford Mustangs driven in long controlled slides up the serpentine roads of Smoky Mountain. Unlike the first video, the new episode is filmed very differently and features multiple cool transitions between daylight and cyberpunk-like night illumination.
The action takes place on one of the most picturesque roads in the western North Carolina. Both Mustangs have been tuned in Vaughn Gittin-Jr.’s body shop, RTR. Like in the first video, the racing pro is accompanied by his trusty Formula Drift sidekick, Chelsea DeNofa.
Judging by the impressive footage, the light designers must have done a tremendous work illuminating the entire drift route for the nighttime shots. The description says it involved using cinematic lenses, camera cars, quadcopters and FPV drones, and we’ve got to hand it to them – the result is truly something else.
