According to an official announcement by the manufacturer, Ford Mustang has once again claimed the title of the worldwide best-selling sports car in 2017. The vehicle has managed to hold leadership since 2015.
The hi-end Ford Mustang GT equipped with a 5.0-liter, naturally-aspirated V8 engine turned out to be the most asked-for model. As many as 125,809 Ford Mustang cars were registered worldwide last year, with the U.S.A. far ahead of the other markets. Only 13,100 vehicles were sold in Europe and only 7,125 found their owners in China.
A grand total of 418,000 Ford Mustangs have been sold internationally since the car’s initial launch in 2015.
