Ford didn’t approve of this Ford Mustang GT redesign

Poland-based car atelier KHM Motor specializes in creating modern versions of classical cars from the 20th century. Its latest creation is the Warszawa M20 GT, a modern re-imagination of the popular FSO Warszawa M20 sedan model from the 1950s.

Ironically, while the original M20 inherited numerous components from the Soviet-made GAZ Pobeda, the new M20 GT is based on the 2016 Ford Mustang GT. And we won’t blame you if you fail to even see the iconic muscle car under this somewhat lackluster body kit.

The tuner team equipped the vehicle with Mercedes-AMG brake lights and certain parts taken from the Chevrolet Camaro. The interior makes use of leather upholstery and offers a large sensor display on the center console.

The Warszawa M20 GT is powered by a 5.0L V8 rated at 420 hp (313 kW), which represents a tremendous boost from the vanilla vehicle’s 52 hp (39 kW).

On an interesting note, Ford issued a statement soon after the release, denying any involvement in the project and voicing general disapproval of such an unauthorized job. Guess we won’t be seeing another similar project soon, then.
