Currently, if you want to buy the most powerful version of Ford Mustang, you will be looking forward to 526 hp (392 kW) and 582 Nm (429 lb·ft). Not bad, but not quite as good as the 700+ hp / 525+ kW of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Shelby promises to have a 720hp (537kW) variant out by 2020, but Roush already offers what looks like a worthy alternative with 710 hp (529 kW).
The 2019 Roush Stage 3 power package boosts the stock five-liter engine of the entry-level Mustang by 250 hp (186 kW). This is accomplished via installation of a custom air intake and a new supercharger.
For the muscle car to cope with the increased performance, Roush also proposes equipping it with a new exhaust system, an aero kit, new suspension and 20” wheels.
A sporty interior overhaul is likewise available.
The company already accepts orders starting at U.S. $58,000 (car price included).
