If you happen to be a Mustang fan with a penchant for the exotic, throw a glimpse at this tuned Ford Mustang Cobra Twin Turbo with supercar-like power and a chameleon paint.
The Mk.4 Mustang rolled off the assembly line in 2004 finished in MystiChrome, a paint that was exclusive for this model in this generation. We are told that only 515 cars ended up with this paint, which changes its color from purple all the way to light blue depending on the available light and viewing angle.
The owner had the engine expanded from 4.6 to 5 liters of displacement and fitted with dual ball-bearing turbos. Further upgrades included a Treadstone intercooler, a Tial blow-off valve and other performance-oriented components. In the end, the car hit the dyno stand with 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) on regular gas.
Elsewhere, this ‘Stang boasts a torque converter, a drag racing-ready transbrake, a deep oil sump, and extra cooling components.
The asking price on Street Side Classics is $52,000, which looks quite attractive given the scope of the upgrades and the fact that the RWD car is street-legal.
