A self-proclaimed insider on a Mach-E forum has revealed that a minor, yet very useful update is coming to the electric crossover SUV next year, which will improve its range.
Allegedly, Ford will bump the SR battery capacity from 68 to 70 kilowatt-hours and the ER capacity from 88 to 91 kWh. As a result, the range should increase by 7–10 miles (11–16 km).
It is also reported that in 2022, the California Route 1 specification will include steering wheel and front seat heating by default.
