Ford’s firstborn e-SUV gets low stance

Before the Ford Mustang Mach-E came out, brand fans kept arguing whether anything like an electric SUV had any right to wear a Mustang badge. Some still do, although the car has become a best-seller and garnered positive reviews (see video). Unsurprisingly, tuners designed a sporty lowering kit for it.

The full set costs €452 and is compatible with all AWD Mach-E models produced starting from model year 2020. The trim version and battery size do not matter. Once installed, the springs drop the front end by an additional 25 mm (1 inch) and the rear end by 20 mm (0.8 inches). Height adjustment is not an option.

The manufacturer promises improved cornering performance and low drag. Perhaps more importantly, though, the crossover begins looking like an actual sports car with its new stance – something that may play an important role if you want it to be recognized as a Mustang.
