Ford Performance keeps us entertained with another video documenting the exploits of Formula 1 star driver Sergio Perez. In the latest episode, Perez gets kidnapped by a taxi driver who later reveals himself to be stunt driver Paul Swift. The two then play a game behind the steering wheel of a 480-hp Ford Mustang Mach-E GT.
In the story, Swift only reveals his identity to Perez after taking him to a racing course with multiple slalom sections and a ring. Swift says Perez is supposed to pass the ring in a controlled slide and adds that he always wanted to know if a Formula racer could surpass a thoroughly trained and experienced driver at such a task.
Swift hits the track and completes it in 33.1 seconds. Perez easily beats his score with 29.11 seconds, but Swift says Perez hit two traffic cones each worth 5 seconds of penalty. After deducing the points, Swift is the clear winner.
The video ends with the frustrated Sergio Perez angrily turning down the stunt driver’s proposal to take him back home in the same taxi.
