The crossover-shaped Ford Mustang Mach-E is greeting the next model year with minor tech improvements and a tempting discount compared to the current version.
Drivers of the new Mach-E get a handy transmission stalk to the right side of the steering wheel for switching virtual gears. The space where the transmission knob used to be is now occupied by a few compartments for small items.
Ford goes on to mention upgraded trimming materials and options, but you will need to configure your own Mach-E to see which ones are available in your desired spec. The good news is that the electric SUV is the first Ford on the market to take advantage of the company’s BlueCruise 1.5 semi-autonomous driving system. It can switch lanes automatically and should generally be more intelligent than its predecessor.
Last but not least, the new Mach-E starts from $36,500 (down $3,500 from the outgoing model year).
