AutoTopNL has recently posted a video featuring a Mustang GT S550 upgraded by Roush. The muscle car releases its full potential on a German speedway and easily manages to hit its manufacturer-rated top speed.
The S550 spec packs a naturally aspirated five-liter V8 by default, The Stage 3 tune-up by Roushadds a supercharger along with other hardware and software means that work together to lift the output to 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque.
This is a massive increase over the stock 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW) and 542 Nm (400 lb-ft). The car in the video is manual but, as you can see for yourself, it has no trouble whatsoever getting from zero to 273 km/h (170 mph) on a public road with no speed limits.
