The North American automaker will be offering the supercharged eight-cylinder to everyone interested, and we can imagine it being quite popular among tuners.
Ford Performance already has an impressive selection of crate engines on sale, and the Mustang Shelby GT500 V8 5.2 will be joining them soon with 770 PS (760 hp / 566 kW) at 7,300 RPM and 847 Nm (625 lb-ft) at 3,000 RPM. A 2.6-liter Roots supercharger is used to reach these numbers.
