Ken Block has posted another video in his series titled “Hoonicorn vs The World”. He challenged a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 this time around, and something went wrong.
The GT500 approached the start line in a production guise, packing 5.2 liters of displacement, eight cylinders and 770 PS (760 hp / 566 kW). It uses a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to carry the momentum to the wheels.
Ken Block’s Hoonicorn has everything going for it on paper, including being 500 kg (1,100 lbs) lighter and twice as powerful at 1,420 PS (1,400 hp / 1,044 kW). The transmission it uses is a six-speed sequential design.
In the three races that followed, the GT500 emerged victorious two times. Watch the video and prepare to be surprised!
