This 825-horsepower Shelby Super Snake Mustang nicknamed the SnakeCharmer will be raffled off at a special event in Cansas City, Cansas, USA next Wednesday.
The one-off vehicle is inspired by the esthetics of the Green Hornet prototype once driven by Carroll Shelby himself. It also pays homage to U.S. fighter jets with its patriotic widebody kit finished in blue, red and white. The interior is also lightly modified, but only shown in passing – it looks like the creators wanted this car to be viewed from outside first and foremost.
Things get interesting under the hood, where the stock 5.0-liter Coyote V8 receives assistance from a huge 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger shining with chrome. Thanks to having around 825 U.S. horsepower at its disposal (600+ kilowatts), the ride completes its 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) launch in 3.5 seconds.
Whoever wins the raffle will also be getting a pilot’s watch styled after the P-51 jet, a fighter’s jacket and $20,000 USD in cash.
