These spy photos depicting the ST performance spec of the Ford Puma have been made mere hours ago – and likely months ahead of the SUV’s official premiere later this year.
The most interesting part is that the company let its SUV out for a ride without any kind of wrap or cover, so your can take a good, long look at its body and lighting. Our personal highlights are the black spoiler lip, the large intercooler visible behind the front bumper, the twin exhaust tips, and the roof spoiler.
The cabin of the ST line will be little different from its non-ST version. The multimedia display remains stuck in the dashboard, the HVAC controls are the same, and only the seats will proudly wear Recaro logos.
Rumor has it that the upcoming Puma ST will be getting a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo engine of the Ford Fiesta ST. Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the mill produces 198 hp (148 kW) in the Fiesta.
