Several months ago, tuning house Mountune presented a power upgrade for the ST edition of the Ford Fiesta (see video). Now, the same basic upgrade goes on sale for the Puma ST, and there is a more powerful version on offer as well.
Installation is made easy thanks to a Bluetooth dongle and a dedicated smartphone app. The m235 package yields 235 metric horsepower (232 hp / 173 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. You could pay a bit more and grab an m260 instead, getting 260 PS (256 hp / 191 kW) and 365 Nm (269 lb-ft) of torque.
Unlocking the full potential of either upgrade requires the use of ON97+ gas and the installation of some extra aftermarket components, such as new charger pipes, an intercooler, etc.
Prices begin at £575 for the Mountune m235 and £675 for the m260. Owners of the former get a £99 discount on the latter.
