Ford Romania celebrates 1,000,000th car produced with Gymkhana-esque antics

Ford has assembled its millionth vehicle at the industrial site in Craiova, Romania, and felt like having some Gymkhana-style fun on video.

Rally driver Adrien Fourmaux recklessly piloted an M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 throughout the shoot to show us what NOT to do ahead of major festivities planned.

The story follows Fourmaux as he sneaks inside the factory pre-decorated for the big celebration next day, steals a Puma and goes on a reckless joyride with it. In the end, he drives straight back into the facility – only to accidentally ram full tilt into a dining table laid out with champagne and cake. Imagine the reactions of the people flocking in for the holiday…

The millionth car produced, incidentally, was a Puma 1.0L Hybrid equipped with a small battery and a low-power electric motor assisting the main petrol engine during acceleration. As we mentioned above, Fourmaux drove a much more potent rally spec.
