Ford reveals the facelifted Ranger

Car manufacturer Ford has premiered its facelifted Ranger pickup truck in Europe. The car will ship with new transmission and engine choices, as well as more electronic driver aids.

The base trim offers 130 hp (97 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lbft) of torque sent to all four wheels by means of a six-speed manual transmission. A higher trim ships with 170 hp (127 kW), while the top spec promises 213 hp (160 kW) and 500 Nm (370 lbft) in conjunction with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Ford Ranger series whips with 4WD and a frontal collision warning system that can recognize and react to pedestrians in front of the vehicle. Paid extras include adaptive cruise control, parking assist and lane control.
