The tuners from British company Ricardo have come out with a military-themed Ford Ranger. Let us see what Europe’s best-selling truck has to offer in its new guise.
The most obvious improvements include the taller ride height and heavy-duty suspension components that should make it possible to traverse all kinds of wilderness. Just to be on the safe side, the tuners throw a humongous all-terrain tire set into the mix.
The army-loving Ford Ranger sports armored body and windows and houses a gun turret inside. The roof rack is small, but also practical.
Changes were made in the electric circuit to facilitate adding a radio station later. The transmission and engine remained stock, however, which in case of the Ranger means 10-speed auto and 2.0 TDI churning out 210 hp (157 kW) and 500 Nm (370 lb-ft) of torque.
