Californian tuning shop APG has launched an upgrade kit called Prorunner for the Ford Ranger. Let us see what is in stock.
The main highlight comes in the shape of a carbon-fiber body kit that adds a whopping 254 millimeters (10”) to the width of the truck. It comes bundled with a winch and new long-travel shock absorbers. Extended wheel arches enable the installation of tires up to 89 cm (35”) in diameter while preserving up to 318 mm (12.4”) of suspension travel.
A roof rack and extra lighting come at a premium, while the drivetrain stays stock. This means a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 270 hp (201 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.
The entire package costs U.S. $11,570, and the installation will set you back another $4,300.
