A special edition of the Ford Ranger Raptor debuts later today in the Old World. Don’t be misled by the Wild West-themed promotional materials: the edition will be restricted to Europe.
The teaser video posted hours before the launch mixes up Mad Max-inspired imagery with that of a typical Western. It features heavily modified cars and overall looks like Clint Eastwood could jump into the frame at any moment.
The Ranger Raptor itself isn’t shown in the video, and the only teaser pic available shows its rear end complete with a double black stripe and red framing.
Chances are the powertrain will stay stock, which for Europe means a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel rated at 210 PS (207 hp / 154 kW) operating in tandem with a ten-speed A/T.
