Ford likes to return to its roots from time to time and reintroduce its classics at a new level. A few months ago, the company announced Splash and Splash Limited Edition versions of the latest Ranger coming to the market – and here are some new details.
We were shown the body color of the main Splash version – orange – but not of the Limited Edition trio. Here they come at last.
The Forest Edition sports a Forged Green paintjob and comes in a series of 500 units. It trades leather trim for ash-tinted fabric in the cabin. The Sand Edition will emerge in the same batch size, but will wear a Desert Sand color scheme.
The Snow Edition will sport an Avalanche exterior and black leather in the cabin along with some carbon fiber details. A total of 750 units will be made.
All Splash vehicles are inspired by 1990s-era cars and are meant as a farewell of sorts to the current generation of the Ranger.
