The U.S.-based Ford Motor Company has torn the veil off its latest-generation Ranger Raptor hi-end pickup truck. The car is unique in its own right – no other Ford Ranger vehicle has been released in an “extreme” Raptor version up until now.
The newcomer has changed much both on the outside and inside. It now holds a 2.0-liter supercharged diesel which can output up to 210 hp with 500 Nm of torque. No performance test data is being provided so far.
The vehicle should arrive in the showrooms in Australia with its own kind of suspension, new high-performance brakes, additional protective body parts, and heavy-duty 17-inch wheels. Its road clearance has been raised to 283 mm (11 inches).
The new Ford Ranger Raptor pickup truck should become available in North America in another year.
