Ford Ranger EV is in the works, says CEO
Ford boss Jim Farly has confirmed that the company has been working on a mid-sized electric pickup set to go on sale under the name “Ranger EV”.
Unlike its fossil fuel cousin, the Ranger EV will be based on an all-new platform designed specifically for electric vehicles. Farly has refused to give any further details at this point, saying only that the launch is penciled in for 2027.
