Ford has taken the wraps off of the Raptor – the ultimate version of the Ranger pickup truck – meant for the European market. Sales will begin in 2019.
The new Ford Ranger Raptor has received a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 213 hp and 500 Nm of torque, joined with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The pickup takes advantage of a high-tensile steel chassis, which should be ideal for fast off-road driving. Its features Fox Racing suspension in front and Watt hydraulics with pull bars in the rear.
Among other things, the Ford Ranger Raptor offers different suspension presets for driving on various surfaces: Gravel, Mud, Rocks, Racing, Sport, and Normal.
