The Guinness Book of Records has shared a video starring the latest Ford Ranger Raptor squeezing through an 88cm (roughly 35-inch) gap riding on two wheels. Paul Swift, the stunt driver who set the record, has a few more achievements like this to his name.
According to the British stuntman, he had struggled to perform this trick and needed multiple attempts for it. Windy weather and the height of the Ranger pickup added to the difficulty. The Raptor spec is both taller and heavier than standard, so fitting it into the narrow corridor was no joke.
To simplify the process of standing on two wheels, the team behind the stunt ultimately decided to build a special ramp. When asked why he picked this particular truck for the attempt, Swift said he appreciated the reliability and safety of the Ranger Raptor lineup.
Coincidentally, the record was set on Thursday, October 16th, known as the International Guinness Book Day.
