The van segment of the car market is having it hard these days with SUVs stealing the spotlight time and again. Manufacturers are doing their best to keep MPVs attractive, but do not always guess the trends correctly. As this mildly tweaked Ford S-Max shows, a new wheel set is all you need sometimes to avoid that ‘boring van’ look.
The work was performed by German tuning company JMS, which is a long-standing partner of Barracuda Racing Wheels. It therefore stands to reason that the first thing they did was replace the stock rims with Dragoon Lightweight Flow Forged ones sized 20x8.5 inches all around. Tires sized 245/35 R20 were put on the silver rims, and the suspension was lowered a bit for extra visual impact.
It helps that the van was a sporty ST Line trim to begin with, of course, but we think the result is still nice. And what do you think?
