Ford has posted the first image of its upcoming all-electric Transit van scheduled to hit the showrooms in Canada and the USA in 2022. The premiere will likely take place next year.
The Transit EV will emerge in a number of versions, including the one with the raised roof and the one with the longer wheelbase.
The full-size battery van is primarily marketed towards corporate clients, who are offered plenty of useful features such as remote drivetrain diagnostics, online vehicle tracking, and collection of use statistics.
Among other things, the new Ford Transit will feature automatic emergency braking, pedestrian recognition and lane control systems.
