Ford Pro Electric SuperVan crashes Goodwood party with 2,000 HP

The electric minibus you see here may not look the part, but it packs an enormous output of 2,028 PS (2,000 hp / 1,491 kW) and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in two seconds flat, further undermining the appeal of hypercars. And the best part is, it was made by Ford Motor Company itself.

The one-off show concept comes based on the E-Transit Custom platform and utilizes a quartet of electric motors. Its custom body features an all-carbon construction with a Ford GT-like rear end and wing. The same racing aesthetic can be found in the cabin with its bucket seats, a multi-function steering yoke and dual displays.

The powertrain supports five drive modes: Road, Track, Drag, Drift and Rally. A regenerative braking system is also present and can operate in different modes depending on your needs.

Finally, the van offers a unique SYNC infotainment system experience with telemetry support. The on-board computing hardware ensures that all motors run in perfect sync, and the car submits its real-time performance data to Ford engineering centers for review and improvement.
