The European office of Ford has shared a preview pic of a campervan set to premiere tomorrow, August 24. It looks like a Transit Custom, although details are few.
The collage shows a pop-up roof with built-in solar panels, a touchscreen providing centralized access to most in-car functions, a shower, a sleeping area and storage niches.
Ford says the model has been developed for outdoor adventures and will be of interest to all van life enthusiasts.
The Transit vehicle family has been continuously updated throughout 2022. The latest generation of vans and MPVs shipped out with both traditional engines and hybrid powertrains. An all-electric version was also made available (see video).
