MS-RT announces sported-up Ford Transit Connect MPV

The public interest in minivan/MPV customization has been steadily growing over the recent years. Various tuners have been designing their own options and accessories, with Great Britain – the homeland of charming double-deckers – being a kind of a trendsetter for most other countries.

With this in mind, it shouldn’t come across as surprising that Wales-based tuner MS-RT plans to launch a pimped-out series of Ford Transit Connect compact vans. Called the MS-RT Transit Connect. it will arrive early this fall priced starting from £24,000 for the six-speed manual gearbox version (add £1.000 if you want the six-speed automatic one).

Each MPV will gain an original body kit that includes aggressive-looking front and rear bumpers, side skirts, fender flares, and a roof spoiler. All components are made of an especially durable injection-molded sort of plastic.

Each Transit van will also get a quad-pipe exhaust system and a set of 18-inch OZ Racing wheels clad in Michelin tires.

The interior will make intensive use of genuine leather and Alcantara, and the tuner even throws in a sports steering wheel with carbon inserts.

Other notable features include bi-Xenon headlights, a backup camera, a premium-grade multimedia system with satellite navigation, and LED lighting available for the passenger/cargo area (depending on your particular model).

The first 40 buyers will take advantage of the exclusive MS-RT Transit Connect Launch Edition, complete with a different interior trim, an original grey paint, and plenty of Limited Edition badges. You do not need to pay extra to get the Launch Edition, but you do have to be quick enough with the pre-ordering.
