The recently shown GAC Trumpchi M8 minivan will soon debut in yet another – third – flavor: plug-in hybrid.
The M8 PHEV will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine, an electric motor and a 25.6-kWh traction battery. This configuration should give it up to 106 km (66 miles) of WLTP-rated range, the manufacturer estimates.
More information will be released later. The sales are set to begin at the end of the year.
