Geely has introduced the Icon, a new crossover/SUV it has co-designed with Volvo.
The car has retained most of the features of its concept version, which debuted a year ago in Beijing, China. This includes the unitized body, the rectangular radiator grille, the infinity sign pattern in the headlights, the thin LED DRLs, and the minimalistic interior.
The cabin feels quite spacious and houses two enormous displays: the dashboard and the multimedia screen. Both provide access to various in-car functions, as well as the GKUI web service.
The Geely Icon will initially ship with the Volvo-made 1.5-liter TFSI engine rated at 177 hp (132 kW), mated to a seven-speed DCT and FWD. Other options may emerge later.
