Geely’s largest SUV unveiled in detail

Chinese car manufacturer Geely has revealed the main specs of its upcoming SUV flagship, provisionally known as the VX11.

The car is going to be 4,830 millimeters (15.85 feet) long and thus comparable with the Toyota Highlander in terms of dimensions. This also makes it the largest Geely vehicle to date (the others max out at around 4.6 meters, or 15.1 feet). As such, it features three seat rows and plenty of standard equipment.

According to the data the company submitted to a certification agency in China, the VX11 features LED Matrix headlights and adaptive cruise control, and comes with two engines to select between. The 1.5 turbo mill delivers 177 hp (132 kW), while its larger 1.8-liter counterpart churns out 184 hp (137 kW). Transmission and drive types remain undisclosed, but in all likelihood, Geely will make the VX11 front-driven by default and offer AWD at a premium.
