Geely has confirmed the establishment of Zeekr Company Limited, a business focused on producing expensive and well-equipped battery vehicles.
The cars will be based on the SEA platform so far only found in the Lynk & Co Zero EV Concept (see the gallery and the video). Sales in China should begin in the third quarter of the year, and the manufacturer says it will consider exporting cars abroad later on.
While not explicitly announced, we expect the first Zeekr vehicle to debut at the Auto Shanghai show kicking off on April 19, 2021.
The company has received 2 billion Yuan in investments, and intends to come up with one new car model per year.
