A new Geely sedan will join the Galaxy lineup in late 2023, inspired by the Galaxy Light Concept that premiered in February (see video). In the meantime, here are its patent shots.
The production vehicle appears to preserve the design of its show prototype, but many details got simplified or otherwise adapted to the production demands. For instance, the new bumper looks much more restrained than the original design. The active air intakes and built-in auxiliary lights are preserved, though. The entire rear end and the taillights are different, and the rear doors no longer swing open against the traffic.
The company mentioned a while ago that a sedan named Geely Galaxy E8 was in the plans, so we assume this is it. There is no information about the powertrain yet, but all-electric sounds likely. If so, Geely will probably equip it with one of the existing powertrain options.
